At St. Charles College -Abavo, we create a serene environment to allow teachers and students alike do do personal studies.
The school library is also well equipped with books that cut across different works of life available for innovation and to stir up curiosity and research.
The school computer centre has considerably good number of functional computers both laptops and desktops opened to teachers and students for a more vast and up-to-date information and getting quick feedback
The school laboratories(Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Agriculture laboratory) well structured to allow conducive conduct of scientific experiments.
The school open-day also gives the teachers the privilege to get feedback from the parents and know the best teaching methodology to adopt for a child.
From time to time, teachers are made to take part in question generation for the third under the Diocese of Issele-Uku. This gives teachers the opportunity to cross fertilize ideas with teachers of other schools under the Catholic Education Board and thereafter, improving on what they were already used to.
Materials for Learning
St. Charles College, Nursery and Primary School, Abavo adopt all contemporary learning materials as approved by the State Ministry of Education and recommended for all Catholic Schools under the Catholic Diocese of Issele-Uku by the Catholic Education Board.

We create bespoke continuing education programs to address the needs of teachers and their student communities. From training on the latest technology to new pedagogical methods, we help teachers make their classrooms engaging and successful.
Support for Communities
The existence of St. Charles College, Abavo since 1963 has been of immense blessing to the community.
Apart from attracting the attention of the government in providing good network of accessable roads that links to the school, Street lights and pipe borne water from the water board located just opposite the school
St. Charles College also make out time to carry out environmental sanitation projects withing the community, once in a session, sensitive the community on her roles in parenting and give aids in terms of startup packs to some of her indigens through Justice for Development and Peace Commission (JDPC)
